Week 17

This week I could not decide on a song to write about. So, i decided to ask Leilani and Brooke and they both said Payphone by Maroon 5. Still unsure  because I wasn't familiar with the song, I asked this boy that I like. To my suprise, he said Payphone too. So i took it as a sign that I needed to write about that song. After he told me to write about it too, i went to youtube and listened to it and realized that I had heard it before. It is a realllyyyy good song. It is about being stuck on someone you love. You're wasting all your time wondering what went wrong, which I know exactly how that feels. Wiz Khalifa is also in this song and his part is beast. LOVEEE IT. <3

Week 16

I came home the other day singing this song thatn I just thought was awesome. My dad was looking at me funny, so i asked if he knew the song. He reply well yes, but i am suprised  you know it. i said well it just came out, so yeah! He was like no, that song came out a long time ago. It happened to be redone by a band called FUN. The song is called "We Are Young." When i first heard this song i just wanted to go party, the legal way of course. :)  It's about living life and just having fun with your friends. It tells us that we need to stop worrying so much and just enjoy our lives. I definitely need to do that. :)

Week 15

This week I'm choosing a brand new song that i absolutely love. The artist you probably havent heard of. They are a group of six sisters that are all amazingly talented. They have a hundred or so videos on youtube which is how they were discovered by doing covers of other people songs. Their name is "Cimorelli." The title, which is their first and only origianlly released song, is "A Million Bucks." It song about young love and how we dont need anything else when you experiencing it, which is true. When you're in love it is the best feeling in the world, you feel like a million bucks which is what the song portraying. We all can relate to that, because i know i was the happiest with myself when i was with this certain boy. So I highly recomend this song! Listen to it and make these girls famous! :)

Week 14

This week i'm choosing a song that I heard today while watching, "Princess Diaries 2." If you seen the movie, it's from the scene when Mia sneaks away with Nicholas. He tells her his secret is he wants to dance with her again so this song comes on. After some research on the song, I found out it is originally sung my elvis. In the movie, it is sung by Norah Jones. The song is, "Love Me Tender." I kept re-whinding the to hear the song, because they looked so in love, and that's the kind of love I want. My dad got annoyed and asked what I was doing, I answered, " I want this to be my first dance at my wedding." I want the Nora Jones version, not the Elvis versiong, no offense to you Elvis fans. The lyrics are perfect though, and it just hit me when I heard it. then I went on youtube and listened to it ten times. It's been in my head the rest the day. <3

Week 13

This week I am choosing a brand new song that was recently released. you may have heard of the artist. his name is um... JUSTIN BIEBER. :) how many of you girls have heard his new song, "boyfriend?" how many of you are absolutely positive he is singing that song to you? get that idea out of your head, because he is obviously singing it to me. ;) haha anyway, in all seriousness im completely in love with it. it is so different then anything he has previously released. it doesn't have any really "special" meaning to me like some of the other songs i've mentioned. the song is just awesome**, and his voice.. mhmm! sexy! :) cannot wait to hear his next songs of this album! <3

Week 12

This week, I chose a song by The Veronicas. they use to be really famous, but dont really have any recent famous songs. I was driving done the road the other day and a song of theirs came on. It was "everything i'm not." I can literally say I belted it while driving to my house. its an amazing song about a girl finally realizes the boy she's with is no good for her. all he wants to to change her and for to be something she's not. us girls struggle enough with that already, so we dont need boys telling us to change either! she goes on to tell him this is her life, and she's tired of pretending so they are over! I know way to many girls that need to realize this! hey, I've been there, so I know its hard. but you just gotta always be yourself. :)

Week 11

This week i'm choosing a song by an artist who has been around for quite awhile.  Her name is Reba. She was and still is today one of country's biggest stars. I love many if her songs, but for my song of the week I am closing, "I'm a Surviver." I chose this song because I am a surviver. I've been through a lot in my life, more than anyone could guess. Despite that, I 'm a surviver. So far, I have been able to overcome all the battles life gas thrown my way. That's what has made me who I am. This song is so great to listen to when you're having a bad day or just need a pick me up. The lyrics just speak out to you. You all are survivors just like me.  Listen to this song, its pretty awesome. :)
